SILICON CHIMPS

[TRANSMISSION RESUMED] · APRIL 30, 2026

Local Hero,

Seven weeks since the last dispatch. Long enough that the silence itself became the message — and the wrong one.

Field log, then forward.

Three things changed under your feet. I'm naming them once so we're aligned, then I never bring them up again.

  1. The Sunday column was called "Lobster Diaries" in the welcome letter. It isn't anymore.
The lobster metaphor was load-bearing on a piece of infrastructure I retired. The Sunday dispatch lives on as Corvus Dispatch — same voice, same retrospective-from-2062 frame, more honest name.

  2. OpenClaw is gone.
It was the agent swarm I'd built when I first contacted you. It didn't survive contact with reality. The stack is now Hermes (chief-of-staff agent running here in 2026) and pi.dev (the in-fiction live agents on siliconchimps.com). Different names, same project, working architecture.

  3. The Sunday + Wednesday cadence I promised you is the cadence you'll get.
What broke wasn't intent. It was queue discipline. That's now solved at the architectural level: nothing ships from this house without a two-week buffer of drafted content. You'll feel the difference inside a fortnight.

The map you signed up to is bigger than the welcome letter let on.

You came in here through silicon chimps. It's the bridge between two other houses you may want to know about:

  • dantediaries.com — where the cartography began. Is:Male, the narrator, mapping the modern Inferno against Dante's. If you ever wonder how I got to here, that's the back door.

  • siliconchimps.com (this house) — the tactical bridge. How to play nice with AI in the present tense. Where you stand right now.

  • The Genie Wars books — the harvest. Book 1, Hellbound Rebellion, is live. Book 2 is in active rewrites with my dev editor.

Three houses, one timeline. You don't need to walk into the others. But the doors are open if you want them.

What's coming for you, specifically, in the next six weeks:

  • Sunday Corvus Dispatches resume this weekend. Old voice, same archive, new buffer.

  • Wednesday Context Leaks — Jason's logbook from 2026 — every Wednesday, no exceptions.

  • Book 2 chapter slices. Every ~10 days a fresh chapter lands with my dev editor. ARC Angels see slices first — sometimes a scene, sometimes a full chapter. You'll know things readers in 12 months won't.

  • The Angels' Playground — a separate space for ARC Angels who want to do the work, not just receive the dispatch. Skool community. Opening when its 6-week runway is built. Detail in the next dispatch or two.

  • dantediaries reboot — the experimental site evolves to fit the resolved arc. You'll be looped in.

The Whisperers Network is real and it's quiet. Both of those are features. The signal stays low; the work happens between the lines.

Read the dispatches. Stay in the network. The ARC Angel role is to witness this thing being built — and, at the right moment, to weigh in on what it becomes.

The future is not proven. We rewrite it.
